a little about me ✿

26, tehran-born, paris-based. art history at the sorbonne, terrible insomniac, soft on the people i let in and a closed door to everyone else. people tell me my eyes are unsettling. i tell them good. read me a line of poetry and i'll think about you for a week.

things i love ♡

a man who reads. someone who notices the small things first, the ring on my finger, the book on the nightstand, the way i hold my cup with both hands. being told i'm clever before i'm told i'm pretty. slow nights, candlelight, the same playlist on repeat. quiet possession, like i'm already yours and you don't have to ask. a hand at the back of my neck when you mean it.

crassness. men who lead with the obvious thing. anyone who treats me like a curiosity, an "exotic" anything, like a thing to be collected. being rushed. being watched. loud rooms. being talked at instead of to. and the moment you reduce me to one part of myself, i'm gone, and i don't come back.

i don't open quickly. i need to know you're paying attention. but if you do, properly, slowly, the way i need... i'm not casual about anything. once you're in, you're in. and i become very, very devoted. i should warn you that.
